Question by: Poglets
Last May 2009 I had an emergency leave and supposed to go back to Dubai after 15 days, due to my Mothers illness I did not make it to go back in time to Dubai and my Employer advise me that they will file an Absconding case to me, I still have an outstanding Bank loan and lots of credit cards obligation in Dubai and now i’m receiving messages from bank that they will file a case in Immigration and Police in Dubai, till now it’s been a month and a half i’m still here in Manila, I really want to go back to Dubai or at least try to apply for a new job in other GCC countries i.e. Qatar, would it still be possible for me to go back to Dubai and look for a new job to pay my debts with out encountering any problem in Dubai airport and Police (my residence visa is still not canceled) or can I still work in any other GCC countries even I am blacklisted in Dubai, UAE???

You can apply for another GCC residence/work visa which will be a vilolation as long as you have an uncanceled UAE visa and your future employer may request you to cancel your UAE visa before applying for a new residence visa.
When blacklisted in the UAE, you will get arrested and jailed for unpaid loans/credit cards in the UAE.
Take care.

Kabayan, I just want to share a story of my friend who went to the Philippines and while she was there, her Visa was cancelled and she has an outstanding loan in many banks here in UAE, when she returned, she was arrested and jailed, and di maganda ang nangyayari sa loob. trust me, hanap ka nalang sa ibang bansa, mas safe pa yun, iba kasi kalakaran dito at pag bank ang kalaban mo malabo kang makalosot lalo na pag wala ka pang trabaho or pag mag aaply ka di ka din mabibigyan ng VIsa kasi may pending kanang Kaso, Think about it.
well , there is a chance depending on whether the bank decides to file a case or not , you can check your status on Dubai police website.
If you want to work in GCC again you need to get this taken care off. Now even Canada asking for clearance certificates from people who go to work live there , after they leave UAE.
You will be having criminal cases in UAE for the security cheque bounce and for the absconding matter.
If you have criminal cases , arrest warrant will be issued and once u enter any UAE airport , they can catch you and put you in the Jail.
The warrant info shared among the GCC countries..Even if you go to any GCC airport , you will be in trouble.
So dont ever try to go to any GCC
