When transferring your website to some web hosts in first step they ask you if you are going to register a new domain or you have an existing domain name. If you have a domain you insert its name in a box and follow the instructions simply.

Basically all you need to do is download all of your files from your current web hosting account to your computer through FTP. Then upload them all to your new web hosting account. If you have any databases make sure to back them up too. Sign up for a new Web Hosting Plan, then use an FTP Program to transfer all the files to the new plan. Once you have tested all the files in the new plan, you can change the A record of your domain name to point to the new web host.
If you have a backend Database you will also have to transfer the database and change the connection string.
