live without any issues. My husband and I don’t smoke or drink. We are both over 50 in good health. Where can we get this and for how much? Or is it too late?

It’s not too late.

To find out how much it’s going to cost you, you’ll have to go get quotes. I’d suggest a local, independent agent.

I’d also suggest if you’ve got children who will need assistance their entire life, $ 1,000,000 isn’t going to go very far.
