ok so im planning to sell my acer aspire 5516 laptop, used for about 3 months, for something else, like a desktop, im not really into laptops cos they arent ment for games and so on so i want to trade it for something else.

You can always sell it on Ebay. That will give you the widest possible audience for people who will want that laptop. You can sell it on Craigslist, but that is more targeted to your local area.

As far as Trade goes… considering why you don’t want it, you are not likely to be able to trade it for something BETTER, because something BETTER would be worth more… and people don’t like to trade what they have and lose out in the deal. I mean, someone with a gaming laptop isn’t going to trade it for a laptop that is less powerful. That would be foolish of them.

However, there are sites where you can trade what you have for other things. Sites like http://www.barterquest.com/
